What if paint could shelter as much as it colors? By taking inspiration from architect Shigeru Ban’s paper tube structures, the design brings comfort, security, and sustainability into every layer.

SOLUTION #07 is protection to purpose through sustainable design.

Designing Structure

—Powder Paint Packaging

Objective

Create a sustainable powder paint brand and packaging that is inspired by Shigeru Ban, a Japanese architect.

Solution

Inspired by Shigeru Ban’s innovative and sustainable paper roll structures, I created the brand Renew. His structures were used to build refugee shelters at low costs, easily constructed and dismantled, and to be used again. Through environmental stewardship and missions rooted in human love, I’ve taken this structure to create a brand that values security and comfort, but also aims to transforming a space to bring it back to life.
